This is my first attempt at painting a portrait.  This beautiful young lady, with the soulful doe-eyes, was my first real girl friend, so of course I had to paint her!

This was taken from her High School graduation photo.

     

With the help of "Classmates", I was recently in touch with Sue online, so it was great having a chance to say "Hi" again after 25 years. 

Today Sue is married and has been a blonde for the last decade.  I just can't picture her as a blonde, but I'm sure she's still just as beautiful at 40 as she was at 18 and I wish her peace and happiness.
